You are sort of correct in that 2 of the DLC's are not capped at 30 in Normal mode, but 35. Starting TVHM in the 40s isn't a disadvantage with DLC loot, especially since it's not capped at 30. If you then decide to do TVHM at level 40-something you will be at a bit of a disadvantage. The longer you stay in Normal mode, the lower and lower the xp will get, your weapons will all be capped at 30. Doing all the DLC's in normal mode will not make this any better. Originally posted by z00t: Any loot in Normal is capped at 30. The underdome has the bank for excess loot, so go there any time. Open the Vault, then carry on with the story in that DLC.Ĭlaptrap and Dr Ned's zombie one are some fun, and can be done in any order. There is an answer to your over levelled problem - start another character.Īs far as Borderlands 1 goes, the General Knoxx one is really a continuation of the main story.

It really isn't too much more difficult than Normal. Not sure why you don't want to play in TVHM. As you have played B1, you will know all about drifters :)

Very large, mostly empty spaces, but some seriously annoying enemies. Torgue's Badass Crater of Badassitude, great loot from Torgue vending machines!Ĭaptain Scarlett's is great fun to play, and lets you get hold of fun things like the Pimpernel sniper rifle and Sandhawk smg.Ĭaptain Hammerlock's has a different feel to it. Just a very nice place to wander around in. This is also one of the nicest looking of the DLC's. Tiny Tina's gives you a chance at some neat gear - Magic Missile grenades for one. You can start all of them at the same time, and progress through each story as you want. Doing all the DLC's in normal mode will not make this any better.Īs to the order of the DLC's. If you are already level 39 in Normal mode you are already over levelled. Their storyline assumes that you have completed the first playthrough. AS far as I know Headhunters are quite forgetables. The DLC's are meant to be played in TVHM. Other, non-story DLCs to buy: ultimate vault hunter 1-2, Mechromancer + Psycho class DLCs. So far it's a let-down, but I hope I'll change my mind, if it's as good as you guys told it. I would say it's the most badass, flashy-action oriented DLC I've played so far, although a little less content as Tiny Tina's.Ĭaptain Scarlet's: Well, I've played only a few quests into this DLC, so so far I can only tell that I want to shoot Shade in the face like no one in the game before.

Torgue's: SMASHING! BADASSERY! EXPLOSIONS! CARNAGE!FLEXINGTON! RESPECT OF WOMEN! It's load, it's crazy, and it explodes while Mr Torgue imitatin a guitar solo. It would be good, but it's in a jungle, only a few non-agressive NPC-s out there, it's not so story-oriented as Tiny Tina's. Hammerlocks: wow, it's so cool, going hunting and all. Raid boss is intresting, though, and DLC has over 15 sidequests and a new arena. In my opinion it also has flaws: enemies are somehow overscaled (even though duo-ed the normal difficulty), and most bossfights are just grindfests. It has incredible amount of content, lots of jokes from the world of tabletop games, RPGs, crumpets, anything.
